|
Medtronic received a report that when preparing for surgery, they opened the product package and found a crack on the tip of the microcatheter, so they re-opened a new microcatheter for use.No patient symptoms or further complications were reported as a result of this event.The device and any accessories were prepared as indicated in the ifu.The patient was undergoing surgery for thrombectomy treatment.The access vessel was femoral artery puncture with a diameter of 8mm.It was noted the patient's vessel tortuosity was normal.
