Event Description
The polarx fit balloon was selected for use during a procedure.It was reported that patient experienced phrenic nerve palsy (pnp).A double stop was performed as both cmap palpation decreased in right inferior pulmonary vein (ripv) at 31 mm within 47 seconds.Twitching continued after the double stop, however, the diaphragmatic movement did not return.A cti was performed, and twitching was attempted again after a while, but no movement returned.It was noted that the ripv was more anterolaterally oriented than the right superior pulmonary vein (rspv).No issue with the device was noted.The procedure was completed successfully with original device.The device is not expected to be returned as it has already been disposed.
