Manufacturer Narrative
A field service engineer (fse) was at the customer¿s site to address the reported event.Fse confirmed the complaint by reviewing the error logs.Fse tried priming the bf probes in the service mode function and the error reoccurred. The fse observed there was not enough wash coming out of the wash probes and wash probe #4 was not working properly.Fse checked the tubing from the probes to the wash tank and found an obstruction in the tank.Fse also removed the tank filter and blew compressed air through the line and replaced the filter and resolved the complaint.Fse successfully primed the wash probes without errors.Fse repaired and validated the analyzer by successfully performing daily check and quality control run without error and within acceptable range. No further action required by field service. The aia-2000 analyzer is functioning as expected.A 13-month complaint history review and service history review through aware date of event for similar complaints was performed for serial number 10640801.There were no other similar complaints found during the searched period.Aia-2000 operator's manual on the appendix 4: error messages: (2242) b/f probe 4 purge failure cause: the overflow sensor failed to detect liquid even after the washer was purged.Solution: air may be trapped in the washer tubing.Purge any remaining air by performing the priming operation and check for the presence of air in the washer tubing. If retry fails, contact tosoh service center or local representatives. The most probable cause of the reported event was due to the failure of the filter.
