Event Description
|
It was reported that an attempt was made to use a everflex entrust to treat a fibrous lesion in the proximal superficial femoral artery.Embolic protection was not used.Device was prepped per ifu.No resistance was encountered when advancing the device.Excessive force was not used.Deployment issues occurred, there was partial deployment.There was no damage to the deployment mechanisms or device handle prior to deployment issue.Lock-pin was removed prior to deployment.Procedure was completed by de-sheathing the stent manually.No patient injury reported.
