An adhesive issue was reported with the abbott diabetes care (adc) sensor.The sensor prematurely detached after fourteen days or less of wear and the customer was unable to obtain readings or monitor glucose levels.As a result, customer experienced a loss of consciousness, seizure, "seeing lights", "nervousness", "unable to open and close eyes", and was unable to self-treat, requiring going to the emergency room (er).At er, a healthcare professional provided third-party treatment of intravenous glucose (type/dose unspecified) for a diagnosis of hypoglycemia.Additionally, hcp provided unspecified analgesic, antiemetic, and diazepam (doses unspecified) medications to customer.There was no report of death or permanent injury associated with this event.
