Literature was reviewed regarding hemodynamic parameters of aortic valve prostheses.The study population included 229 patients who were predominantly male with a mean age of 71.1 years. multiple manufacturer¿s devices were implanted in the study population; 23 patients were implanted with a medtronic ats open pivot mechanical (n=9) or an evolut r (n=14) bioprosthetic valve. among all patients adverse events included: transvalvular high gradients, patient-prosthesis mismatch, and reoperation. no further information pertaining to medtronic products was noted.
