During the investigation at zoll, the autopulse platform (sn: (b)(6)) failed the load cell characterization test.The root cause of the observed failure was a failed load cell.The cracked cover and a load cell failure were likely attributed to mishandling, such as a drop.Upon visual inspection, a large vertical crack on the top cover and a hole on the load plate cover were noted.The physical damages appear to be characteristics of user mishandling, such as a drop.The top cover and the load plate cover were replaced to address the observed physical damages.The autopulse platform passed the initial functional and run-in tests using a large resuscitation test fixture (lrtf) for 6 minutes without error or fault.The load cell characterization check revealed a failed load cell.The load cell was replaced to address the observed failure.Following service, the autopulse platform passed the 15-minute run-in and final tests without fault or error.Historical complaints were reviewed for service information related to the reported complaint, and there was no previous history of complaints reported for the autopulse platform with sn: (b)(6).
