Event Description
It was reported that catheter entrapment on guidewire and shaft break occurred.A 7 x 40mm carotid wallstent monorail was selected for angioplasty treatment.During procedure, as the catheter advanced over a guidewire, it became entrapped on the guidewire.When attempting to remove it, the catheter shaft fractured.The device was removed, and the procedure was completed using another device.There were no patient complications.
