Event Description
Device report from depuy synthes reports an event in japan as follows: it was reported that during a l1 vbs+2a2b fusion (l1) for vertebral fracture on october 30, 2023, when the surgeon injected 2 cc of cement with the cement needle, cement leakage outside the vertebral body (lateral to the vertebral body) was observed.No health hazards to patients have been confirmed at this time.No further information is available.This report is for one (1) unk - biomaterial - cement.This is report 1 of 1 for complaint (b)(4).
