Event Description
|
A physician was using an amphirion deep balloon catheter for treatment of a lesion in the posterior tibial artery.The device was prepped as per the ifu with no issues identified.It was reported there was difficulty removing the balloon and the balloon catheter was cut and a 10fr non medtronic introducer sheath was inserted to replace the 6fr sheath and the remaining guidewire and the balloon could then be removed.No detached portion of the device remains in the patient.Another amphirion deep was used to complete the case.
