An error message was reported with the abbott diabetes care (adc) device.Customer received a "replace sensor" message and was unable to obtain readings.As a result, customer experienced "not feeling well", "vomiting"."blurred vision", and was unable to self-treat, requiring a non-hcp to perform a blood glucose measurement with result of 46 mg/dl, prior to taking customer to the hospital.At the hospital, a healthcare professional (hcp) provided third-party treatment of "glucose infusion" (type/dose unspecified) for a diagnosis of dehydration and was hospitalized for an unspecified duration.There was no report of death or permanent impairment associated with this event.
