Event Description
|
The hospital reported that during an endoscopic vein harvesting procedure, vasoview hemopro 2 branch transection was complete.Harvester was then spot cauterizing side wall bleeding, a lot of smoke coming from the device.Upon removal of the device from the patient, the wire had lifted from the jaws.Power setting was at 2.5.A new device was used to complete the procedure.There was no delay.No patient harm was reported.
