Event Description
|
Physician used a venaseal closure system to treat a patient¿s great saphenous vein (gsv).The lumen was flushed prior to use.The ifu (instruction for use) was followed during preparation, procedure, post-procedure.Tumescent infiltration was not utilized.Local anesthesia was used.No compression was used.Provider stated he completed procedure per ifu and vein was reported to have closed.No additional treatment required.It was reported post op, granulomas seen at a segment of the treated gsv in mid-thigh.Granuloma is not at the access site.
