|
According to the reporter, the knife could not advance when the device was used for the head and neck dissection.A new product was used and the surgery proceeded; there were no problems with the patient's postoperative condition.Medtronic's initial evaluation of the incident device found the tooth of the blade safety was broken, the piece was returned.There is evidence of use on the device.
