A customer reported experiencing a skin reaction while wearing the abbott diabetes care (adc) device.The customer further reported that there was a "bump beneath the skin", pain and an infection at the sensor insertion site.The customer went to the emergency room (er) and received medical treatment however, details of the treatment was not provided as no further information was provided.There was no report of death or permanent injury associated with this event.
