A field service engineer (fse) conducted a site visit and was able to confirm the problem by reviewing the error log.The fse verified the tip alignments and confirmed the tip head was aligned to all corresponding positions.The fse cleaned the tip head with alcohol and tested alignments rigorously but was unable to replicate the reported error.Additionally, the fse tested controls from the six different locations where the racks can be positioned and encountered no issues.No further action is required by field service.The aia-2000 analyzer is functioning as expected.A 13-month complaint history review and service history review through aware date of event for similar complaints was performed for serial number 10313801.There were no similar complaints identified during the search period.The aia-2000 operators manual under appendix 4: error messages states the following: [4063] sorter tip pickup z-axis home overrun cause : the home sensor activated improperly following movement of the z-axis sorter tip pickup.If retry fails, the measurement result will be flagged (mf flag).Solution : contact tosoh service center or local representatives.The most probable cause of the reported event was not determined, cause not established.
