(b)(4).The explanted product was not returned to neuropace for analysis.
 
Event Description
The onset date was reported as (b)(6) 2023.The patient reported increasing pain and pressure in the back of the head close to the incision, as well as tenderness to touch.Redness was visible in photographs taken at this time.Washout and removal of hardware (neurostimulator and two depth leads) was performed on (b)(6) 2024.Treatment included iv ertapenem for 6 weeks.Diagnosed as subdural osteomyelitis, infection and dehiscence at the incision site.
