Event Description
It was reported to philips that the heartstart xl+ device exhibited an alarm that the device is disabled and the service mode window popped up.There was no reported patient involvement.

This report is based on information provided by philips authorized service provider (asp) and has been investigated by the philips complaint handling team.Philips received a complaint on the xl+ device indicating that the device is disabled, and service mode window pops up.The customer decided to repair the device on their own and no details were provided, however it was confirmed that the device was returned to full functionality.The device remains at the customer site and no further evaluation is warranted at this time.Based on the information available and the testing conducted, the cause of the reported problem was not provided.The reported problem was not confirmed.The customer resolved the issue on their own, no details provided.It has been concluded that no further action is required at this time.If additional information is received the complaint file will be reopened.H3 other text : customer opted to repair the device on their own.
