It was reported that the instrument fractured during the procedure.No adverse events have been reported as a result of the malfunction.Attempts have been made and additional information on the reported event is unavailable at this time.

This follow-up report is being submitted to relay additional information.If any further information is found which would change or alter any conclusions or information, a supplemental will be filed accordingly.Zimmer biomet will continue to monitor for trends.

It was reported that the instrument fractured during the procedure and the fractured piece was retained in the patient's wound.No additional patient consequences were reported.Attempts have been made and additional information on the reported event is unavailable at this time.

This follow-up report is being submitted to relay additional information.The picture provided was not clear enough to confirm the breakage or damage.Radiographs were provided and reviewed by a health care professional.Review of the available records identified the following: right total shoulder arthroplasty with possible metallic fragment along the scapula body medially, medial to the central glenoid pin.Device history record (dhr) review was unable to be performed as the lot number of the device involved in the event is unknown.The reported event is confirmed as x-rays were provided.A definitive root cause cannot be determined.If any further information is found which would change or alter any conclusions or information, a supplemental will be filed accordingly.Zimmer biomet will continue to monitor for trends.
