Event Description
It was reported that electrogram (egm) review was requested for this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) system due to suspected rhythm acceleration into ventricular fibrillation (vf). There were two right ventricular pace (rvp) intervals followed by a premature ventricular contraction (pvc), leading into the observed vf.The device had started a right ventricular automatic threshold (rvat) test at that time.Technical services (ts) was unsure whether the rvat had initiated the vf, as the rvat had been on for some time. This crt-d remains in service. No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
