Event Description
Literature was reviewed regarding transvenous lead extraction.The authors described patients who underwent lead extractions due to systemic infections, lead-related severe tricuspid valve regurgitation, local infection, and unknown lead malfunction.One patient experienced a femoral arteriovenous fistula with need for treatment related to the procedure.The status of the leads is unknown.No additional adverse patient effects or product performance issues were reported.
