Event Description
It was reported that a large volume infusor had "the connection tube broken at the base of the infuser" which resulted in a leak.This occurred after 24 hours of continuous patient infusion.The device contained chemotherapy drug (5-fluorouracil).There was no report of patient injury or medical intervention associated with this event.No additional information is available.

H4: the lot was manufactured june 28 - 30, 2023.H10: a batch review was conducted and there were no deviations found related to this reported condition during the manufacture of this lot.The device was discarded; therefore, a device analysis could not be completed.Should additional relevant information become available, a supplemental report will be submitted.
