It was reported, that while using the high flow insufflation unit during a laparoscopic appendectomy, the set pressure did not rise from 10 mmhg.It was noted that this occurred because it was in pediatric mode.The part where the led was supposed to be attached was also partially cut off.Additionally, the customer reported that some of the leds were burnt out.There was a 10-minute delay, and the procedure was then completed with a similar device.There were no health hazards reported.There was no report of a significant delay causing serious deterioration in the patient's condition.There was no indication that the procedure was being done urgently or that a critical diagnosis was missed.There was also no evidence that a life-threatening event occurred, that the patient developed permanent harm or impairment, or that additional medical intervention was required to preclude permanent impairment or harm.
