During remote monitoring, the patient experienced an episode of fast conducted atrial fibrillation, which the device incorrectly interpreted as a ventricular fibrillation resulting in delivery of inappropriate shock.Abbott technical support was contacted and provided reprogramming parameters to avoid future episodes of inappropriate therapy, however, no intervention was performed at this time.The patient was stable and will continue to be monitored.
