Event Description
Medtronic received information that 7 days following implant of this transcatheter bioprosthetic valve, the valve migrated. The valve was interfering with the mitral valve so it was decided to attempt to snare the valve and move it out of the mitral valve.Upon the attempt to snare the valve, the valve subsequently dislodged.A new medtronic valve was implanted without complication. It was noted that the implant depth of the valve contributed to the migration. No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
