|
It was reported that the patient received inappropriate high voltage therapy and inappropriate anti-tachycardia pacing for atrial fibrillation (af) with rapid ventricular response that the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) detected as ventricular fibrillation (vf).The crt-d remains in use. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

It was later reported by the patient's following physician that the therapies were appropriate.The patient was started on antiarrhythmic and other medication.
