Event Description
Information was received from a manufacturer representative regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for urinary/bowel dysfunction. It was reported that the patient (pt) had mri on (b)(6) 2024 but they did not put the ins into mri mode.Pt said she felt heating at the ins during the mri so they stopped the mri. They put the ins into mri and then continued the mri and it was fine.Pt reports that since the mri the ins is randomly turning off for no reason.Pt checks the ins with the app and it is off so pt turns it back on.Rep checked the usage reports and it shows multiple off and on events.Pt will keep a log of when the ins turns off.
