Event Description
This report is being filed after the review of the following journal article: galderic roblot (2023), a postoperative heterotopic ossification leading to radial palsy, elsevier, pages 2468-1229 (france).This is a complaint.Postoperatively to a biceps tendon repair on an unknown date using an unknown implant, 58 y.O.Male developed nerve palsy reported approx.3 months post-op requiring re-operation.Excision of the ossification and radial nerve neurolysis was finally performed at one year.Eight weeks later, the motor deficit had completely resolved.A copy of this literature article is attached to this medwatch report.
