Event Description
It was reported that a tecnis symfony toric intraocular lens (iol) had a slight miss in power after being implanted in the patient's right eye.Main complaint was that the patient had persistent glare and halos for several months with night time driving.Another johnson and johnson lens of a different model and diopter (diu225, 16.5 d) was used as a replacement.There was no incision enlargement, no vitrectomy and no sutures done.The patient is doing fine post-op and no injury reported.The explanted iol was discarded.No other information was provided.
