An adhesive issue was reported with the abbott diabetes care (adc) sensor.The sensor prematurely detached and the customer was unable to obtain readings.As a result, the customer was not aware that their blood sugar dropped to "58" (obtained from unspecified) and experienced a loss of consciousness and incoherence.The customer was unable to treat themselves, requiring non-healthcare professional (hcp) administration of orange juice, peanut butter, and candy.No further treatment was reported.There was no report of death or permanent impairment associated with this event.
