It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p) recorded an episode of atrial tachy response (atr) events.Upon review, technical services (ts) determined that an atr had occurred due to far-field oversensing in the right atrial channel. It was also noted that the far-field oversensing caused functional undersensing of some atrial beats.Ts suggested adjusting the sensing threshold of the atrial channel. The sensing threshold was adjusted and the oversensing was resolved. This device remains in service. No adverse patient effects were reported.
