Since this event resulted in a serious injury, it is reportable per 21 cfr part 803.
 
Event Description
While using a byte day aligners, patient has reported that they have been wearing their aligner for a long time and it's not doing any good, their roots are showing now since they've been in the aligner for so long.It is creating dental issues.The roots are showing on the top right, where their teeth are not moving.The aligners are pushing their gums up and they can see the root.This is happening at tooth #8.Pictures from the patient show that a space is forming while tooth #7 is being moved off tooth #8.The gums on teeth #7-10 have slightly receded from where they were before treatment.Patient was advised to see their dentist for an evaluation.
