Event Description
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).The reason for call was patient stated that they were having trouble with their stimulator since a couple months ago.Patient stated their controller keeps shutting off and the program keeps wiping out and the controller shows 'replace the controller batteries soon' message.Agent walked patient through resetting their controller; controller showed 60% and ins 100%.Agent walked patient through exiting mri mode.Agent instructed patient to check for damage; patient verified no damage to recharger.Agent assisted patient with navigating programs and patient was able to adjust therapy.Agent informed patient to continue charging controller and monitor the issue and to call back if the issue persists.Agent reviewed with patient device function and therapy on/off button.The troubleshooting steps that were taken on the call resolved the issue.
