Event Description
Philips received a complaint from the customer on the v60 ventilator indicating that error for "pressure regulation high" (diagnostic code 1009) had occurred. The device was in use on a patient at the time the reported issue was discovered; however, there was no harm to the patient or user.Troubleshooting was performed and it was discovered that the proximal pressure was greater than the pressure limit and greater than the high inspiratory pressure (hip) setting for 1 second. The remote service engineer (rse) determined that replacement of the data acquisition (da) printed circuit board assembly (pcba) was required to resolve the issue. The rse provided the customer with the part number for the da pcba to order and replace.
