According to the reporter, during a laparoscopic colon resection procedure, after the first firing and clipping, the jaws did not open, and the clip handle could not be released from the blood vessel.When the handle was forcibly pushed back and forth, the jaws opened, and there seemed to be no non-formation in the clip.During the clipping, a rattling sound was heard from the handle.However, the same issue persisted after the first firing.A new clip applier was used to resolve the issue.There was no patient injury.
