Event Description
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that  their implant battery is dead and they don't want to have a new device.The patient said that the implant has lasted 7 years and now it doesn't work anymore since before christmas in october or november.The patient mentioned they are more aware of ins now than they were before and can feel ins more when at the gym or doing something.The patient asked if they should keep the implant or have it removed.The patient was redirected to their healthcare provider to further address the issue.
