It was reported that the health care professional (hcp) wanted a review of reports.Technical services (ts) reviewed the reports and found that this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) exhibited high out of range impedance on the right atrial (ra) lead and left ventricular (lv) lead channels.Ts noted that this appears to be a known issue as the device is programmed to pace and sense in the right ventricular (rv) lead channel only.Ts also noted that there was a ventricular episode where no therapy was provided as the arrhythmia was below the therapy zone. The hcp stated that cardiology will be paged to adjust the therapy zones. The device remains in use.No adverse patient effects were reported.
