|
It was reported that the patient experienced shortness of breath and weakness, and collapsed after sporting activity.It was noted that the patient did not experience typical syncope, and the ecg (electrocardiogram) was normal.A few days later, the lower rate was reprogrammed from 40 to 60 bpm, and mode changed from ddd to dddr.The event was noted to be related to the programming.The device remains in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.The device was noted to be part of the prompt study.
