It was reported that a (b)(6) male patient weighing (b)(6) was in cardiovascular arrest.After 20 minutes of manual cpr, the ems crew decided to switch to automatic cpr with the autopulse platform.The crew placed the patient on the platform, pulled the lifeband completely up and then positioned it on the thorax of the patient.The "start" button was pressed and the lifeband sized down on the patient to begin compressions.After about 5 minutes of compressions, the platform suddenly stopped and indicated that the patient's position needed to be checked.Customer stated that the position of the patient did not change from the start of therapy.The crew powered the device off, then back on and was able to restart compressions without any other changes to the patient's position.No adverse patient sequelae was reported.No further information was provided.
