Event Description
Customer reported the sensor port is damaged, which was found during set up.Customer could not provide the date when found.No pt incident or injury was reported.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
Evaluation of the alarm did not confirm the reported issue; there is no damage to the sensor receptacle which is working properly.However, when the nurse call cable is plugged into the nurse call receptacle and the nurse call cable is moved, the nurse call red led light toggles on and off.The unit passed all other functional tests.There are scuff marks on the battery door.The alarm has been in service for two years.(b)(4).
