Complainant alleged that an autopulse® li-ion battery clip will not retract and the customer is experiencing difficulties removing the battery from the autopulse platform.No adverse patient sequelae was reported.No further information was provided.

Zoll has not received the product in complaint.A supplemental report will be filed if and when the product is returned and investigation has been performed.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
The battery (s/n (b)(4)) was returned to the manufacturer and evaluated.Physical damage was noted upon receipt at the right guiding pin and and at the edges of the battery.Functional testing was performed and the reported complaint could not be confirmed.Evaluation revealed that there was no issue inserting and removing the batery from both the mc charger as well as an autopulse platform.
