It was reported that during a distal superficial femoral artery (sfa) to the popliteal artery stenting procedure, the supera stent was successfully deployed.During removal of the stent delivery system (sds), the distal tip became detached and could not be retrieved by snaring.A second unspecified stent was used to crush the tip against the vessel wall without issue.Patient outcome was reported as good.There was no reported clinically significant delay in the procedure.No additional information was provided.
