It was reported that in (b)(6) 2007 the patient injured his neck during wrestling match.The patient continued to suffer from intermittent pain for approx.A year and a half after the injury.On (b)(6) 2009, the patient underwent x-rays and mri of cervical spine.The results showed that the patient had slight straightening of the normal spine curvature, but that the spine was otherwise unremarkable.On (b)(6) 2009, the patient was told that he had a tear in the area around his c5-c6 vertebrae.The patient underwent epidural injections for pain relief.On (b)(6) 2009, the patient underwent cervical spinal fusion from c5-c6.The patient was implanted with rhbmp-2/acs.Post-op, the patient continued to suffer from incredible pain that did not diminish after the surgery.The patient was often unable to sleep, stand, or sit due to the extreme pain that he lives with every day.
