Siemens current product service (cps) team investigated the data files and associated lab results and concluded that k+ sensor exhibited acceptable, typical performance.Discrepancy most likely due to pre-analytical factors and differences between ise direct vs.Indirect measurement.

Customer reported discordant potassium on the analyzer.Customer indicated that unnecessary potassium treatment was given to the patient due to discordant result.
