Event Description
|
It was reported in a publication titled "higher dosages of bmp-2 in alveolar cleft repair result in higher rates of postoperative nasal stenosis", that 60 patients underwent 115 surgeries, 48% (55 surgeries; average age 3.53y) using rhbmp-2 and 52% (60 surgeries; average age 3.43y) without rhbmp-2.Patients underwent procedure for alveolar cleft repair surgery using rhbmp-2.Post-op, nasal stenosis was observed in 34 patients.
