Event Description
It was reported that a lead integrity alert (lia) triggered on the right ventricular (rv) lead for oversensing with sensing integrity counter (sic) and noise. However, the electrograms were most consistent with electromagnetic interference (emi) exposure of the implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd) device and not a lead integrity issue.Reprogramming was initially performed, but the device was later explanted and replaced. No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
