Event Description
The healthcare professional (hcp) of a clinical study reported that the implantable neurostimulator (ins) was unable to recharge. The clinical diagnosis was restless leg.The outcome was ongoing. No actions were taken as interventions. The patient reported restless sensation so they were not using the stimulator. The stimulator programmer gave a message and the patient was not able to charge. The etiology was reported as possibly related to the device or therapy and not related to the implant procedure. The etiology was noted as related to the recharge process. The reason for non-compliance is related to the subject. The patient had stimulation running at high frequency and did not maintain recharging so the system battery depleted.Additional information received reported the ins was replaced and the patient recovered without sequelae on (b)(6) 2016.
