Event Description
Information was received from a consumer regarding an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for the treatment of non-malignant pain.It was reported that the patient has pain.The patient stated that the stimulation isn't targeting the right area.The patient was asked to follow-up with the healthcare provider (hcp) to address the pain.The patient stated that they are in (b)(6) for the winter and saw a hcp on (b)(6) 2017 and they don't think the implant is working properly.The patient stated that the hcp was going to reach out to the local rep for further assistance but hasn't heard from anyone.

A good faith effort will be made to obtain the applicable information relevant to the report.If information is provided in the future, a supplemental report will be issued.
 
Event Description
Additional information was received from a consumer.It was reported that the circumstances that led to the pain and stimulation not targeting the correct area was that walking was very painful.The steps taken to resolve the pain and stimulation not targeting the correct area was that the patient met with a manufacturer's representative (rep) and they reprogrammed the stimulator.The patient was told to call in 2 weeks.The pain and stimulation not targeting the correct area have not totally been resolved.The patient stated that they talked to the rep on (b)(6) and they went to another program.The patient was told to call in a week to see if it's working.
