Event Description
|
It was reported that after locking the setting in on the device, the setting will not stick.Per customer, "what we were wanting to do was change the parameters on the monitor that were more appropriate to a neonate in the birth suite at birth.Currently the monitor is changed prior to being used at a birth to reflect appropriate levels for a newborn but this has to be repeated each time as it returns to the original settings. If this isn't done prior to being used at a birth it means during a resuscitation the monitor constantly alarms for levels that are tolerated on a baby immediately following birth." no known impact or consequence to patient.
