Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional regarding a patient who was enrolled in a clinical study and implanted with a neurostimulator for failed back surgery syndrome and spinal pain.It was reported that the patient complained of increased pain with spinal cord stimulation.The patient reported on (b)(6) 2015.The neurostimulator was reprogrammed on (b)(6) 2015.The issue was unresolved at the time of study exit/death/study closure.The event was related to the device or therapy, specifically related to programming.The event was unlikely related to the implant procedure.It was noted that the most recent interrogation prior to the event was on (b)(6) 2015.Follow-up is being conducted to clarify if the event was unresolved at the time of study exit, study closure or death; the reason/cause for the study exit, study closure or death; and corresponding date.
